In 2010 I was asked by MONA to design lights for their museum shop. The result is MONA Lamp - an extension of the works I had been making as a Moorilla Scholarship recipient. Last year I was also awarded an Arts Tasmania grant to create a new body of sculptural lights based on a series of residencies at historic Tasmanian Lighthouses. The architectural structure and light from lighthouses has intrigued me for a long time. As a sculptor and lighting designer, lighthouses combine notions that create a beautiful and structurally succinct package.
