Trails
Trails is a work that relates to my frequent adventures through the Tasmanian bush. One of the things I enjoy most about bushwalking is having an elevated vantage point, and seeing the trail ahead of me rolling and winding before it disappears into the distance. This table is a sort of tribute to the duck boarding, which helps to protect the delicate flora of the local National Parks. Trails is my way of mimicking that idea. By using the chosen construction technique, I have been able to limit the lengths of the needed material to less than 80cm. Because this object only requires such short lengths, it has also enabled me to use only off cuts and recycled local timbers.
