This Must be the Place
Home is where I want to be,
but I guess I’m already there.
Is home a place or a feeling?
Can you be at home without feeling at home?
Can you feel at home in somebody else’s home?
How come I get homesick when I’m already home?
I remember feeling at home in my house when I was small.
I made my pieces for dot.furnished while looking backwards to that idealised recollection of home. I made furnishings-inspired clothing because as I got big I learned that ultimately you carry your home with you.
