DOT COURSE CANCELLATION POLICY & FAQS
What’s your cancellation and reschedule policy?
DOT courses have a 7-day cancellation policy. We do not offer refunds for cancellations less than 7 days.
If you choose to cancel your booking inside this 7-days, you will be issued a credit to re-book another course date.
Cancellations 48 hours prior to your course will receive no refund or credit. This includes if you are unwell.
Under no circumstances will a refund or credit be given for workshop non-attendance. DOT does not offer make-up classes.
Cancellations by DOT
DOT courses require a minimum of five participants to go ahead. In the event we don’t achieve minimum bookings, we’ll notify you by email and issue you a full refund.
When will my work be ready after a workshop?
Please allow 4-weeks for your work to be fired. Keep an eye on your inbox and spam folder. We’ll email you as soon as they’re ready for collection.
What do I need to bring to class?
We recommend bringing an apron, towel and short nails for hand building courses.
What happens if my work cracks in the kiln?
All care is taken to ensure student course work is well made, however this is ceramics, and there’s always the odd casualty. We take no responsibility for work that cracks or breaks.
Do you offer a firing service?
We do not. We recommend Derwent Ceramics Supplies for all your firing needs.
Do you have parking?
DOT has off-street parking for evening courses at the rear of our building at 27a Tasma Street, North Hobart.
