DOT’s wood and metal workshop offers 24-hour access for both casual users and studio holders, with the tools, space, and support needed to bring ideas to life.

A fully equipped space for woodworkers and furniture designers to design, prototype, and produce.

From precision tools to large-scale machinery, our workshop supports every step of the design process, whether you're prototyping, refining, or producing pieces for your business.

Equipment

Members have full access to shared equipment:

  • SCM panel saw

  • SCM jointer (400mm)

  • SCM thicknesser (500mm)

  • Bandsaws (large and small)

  • Table router

  • Festool compound mitre saw

  • Pedestal drill

  • Wood lathe

  • Work benches

  • Clamps (sash and F)

  • Linisher

  • Disc sander

  • Festool Domino, sander, and dust extractor

  • Industrial ducted dust extraction

  • MIG and TIG welders

  • Welding bench with extraction

  • Grinding wheels

  • Anvil

  • Hoop roller

  • Metal lathe

Fees

  • Studios: $540–$605 per month

  • Casual access: $21/hour · $123/day · $184 (10-hour pass)

All options include 24-hour access to shared workshop facilities and equipment.
